FROM STRATEGY TO EXECUTION

Discovery & Research

I began by conducting user interviews with both barbers and potential customers to understand their frustrations with traditional booking systems. Through competitor analysis, I identified patterns in service based apps and discovered key UX gaps around scheduling, trust, and user onboarding.

User Experience Strategy

From this, I developed core personas and mapped detailed user flows for booking, rescheduling, payments, and onboarding. I focused heavily on trust building by prioritising profile transparency, reviews, and verification indicators.

UI Design & Visual Language

To reflect Mobitrims’ mission modern convenience with traditional values I created a brand led UI that felt both premium and approachable. I built a responsive design system from scratch, incorporating scalable components and UI states optimised for fast navigation and accessibility.

Prototyping & Usability Testing

I iterated through low and high fidelity prototypes, testing navigation, booking flows, and calendar interactions with users on both sides of the platform. Their feedback shaped everything from layout to micro interactions especially in refining how users filter barbers and view availability.

Design Handoff & Collaboration

I worked closely with developers to ensure pixel perfect execution, supplying detailed documentation and adaptive behaviours. Throughout development sprints, I remained involved reviewing staging builds, making adjustments, and aligning product goals with engineering constraints.
